Ambrogio I. Rinaldi

Ambrogio Rinaldi is Director at COVIP  (Commissione di Vigilanza sui Fondi Pensione),  the Italian supervisory authority on pension funds, with responsibility in the fields both of daily supervision and of research. He regularly represents COVIP in IOPS and CEIOPS meetings.

Before joining COVIP, he worked many years at Banca d'Italia, the Italian central bank,  in the Research Department and then in the supervision of asset management and investment firms.

He holds degrees in Economics from the Università di Roma "La Sapienza" and from Harvard University.

Since 2003 he is Chair of the OECD Working Party on Private Pensions and Member of the Bureau of the OECD Insurance and Private Pensions Committee.
