Aerdt Houben

Aerdt Houben (1963) is Head of the Supervisory Strategy Department at De Nederlandsche Bank. He has previously worked at DNB’s Monetary and Economic Policy Department and the IMF’s Policy Development and Review Department. He chairs the Technical Committee of the International Organisation of Pension Supervisors and has been active in several policy committees in the context of the of the European System of Central Banks, the EU’s Economic and Financial Committee and the G10. He has a PhD in economics and has published broadly on financial issues.
